These are some things that can be assigned or everyone should be aware of:
The only decor that the family is setting up is at the sangeet will be table linens and bud vases for the cocktail tables. I’ve let my planner know to call on the bridal party if she needs help setting up the other things.
Zohra is setting up an emergency kit with some basic items. PoC for planner.
Annette will make sure all bride outfits are in check. PoC for photographer.
Shameem will make sure all groom outfits are in check. PoC for planner.
Sana will be casually in charge of Sangeet dance aesthetic.
Danah will keep all clothes and jewelry borrowed from Anita. Make sure Danah has everything back at the end of the weekend.
Julie will keep an eye on decor and signage. And on varmala duty!
Everyone will help each other safety pin dupttas, drape sarees (or find an auntie who can), bobby pin and eyelash glue down maang tikkas.
Just remember at the end of the day, the wedding is a competition to see who’s side is better. Bride or die, bitches <3
